“Kill a dreamer become a visionary,” said James “Cali” Callaham, CEO of So Phocused LLC. The bright lights, star studded events and video vixens have not clouded his vision. Cali’s mission is to become a household name in entertainment and innovator for other entrepreneurs.  It has been a long journey since he sponsored, organized and hosted his first annual All White. “It was meant to serve as my 21^st birthday party. I never had a birthday party before so I had no expectations,” said Cali. A lack of expectation evolved into an obsession to shape his domain, So Phocused LLC.

His nightlife events, such as the annual All White have consistently been unforgettable over the past 8 years. “I am a perfectionist; I want to bring out the best in people by creating memories. So Phocused events are special occasions and will eventually become like the Roc Nation and Bad Boy events.”  Reminiscing on when he lost his job, Cali recalls, So Phocused LLC becoming his life overnight. Now empire-building, Cali manages impressive artist such as K-Flum and Brix. Furthermore, he is excited to kick off the “Ciroc the Mic” concert series featuring  comedian host Spanky of MTV’s Wild ’N Out and DJ QuickSilva of DC’s radio powerhouse 93.9. Hip Hop artist Yo Gotti will be headlining the “Ciroc the Mic” tour, throughout 5 major cities.

Hip Hop wunderkind Young Jeezy has always inspired Cali. “Meeting Jeezy was a dream of mine accomplished. He built himself up, his brand and enterprise. I drove from Charlotte to Connecticut just to make sure I met him. I rushed because I had an event immediately following. I’m determined; I do everything myself because this business has given me trust issues. Others visions don’t match yours.” Using this inspiration Cali worked towards becoming a philanthropist. He is driven to help all those around him do better.  Cali actively provides mentorship to influence the young and ambitious. “I do not wait for tragedy to strike to help and seek a difference. I intend to be a role model for young men and provide mentorship to influence young people in my community. Also, I donate to charity and invest in different service programs being sure to keep track of exactly where my money goes. I need to see the immediate impact.”  The man is a jack of all trades; Cali is determined to master it all! The dynamo will not stop until all of his visions become his triumphs.
